Adèle Exarchopoulos Joins Zoë Kravitz In Apple Film From ‘My Old Ass’ Director Megan Park
French actress Adèle Exarchopoulos has been cast in a lead role alongside Zoë Kravitz in an untitled mystery film for Apple, directed by Megan Park, the filmmaker behind "My Old Ass". The casting, revealed exclusively by Deadline, marks Exarchopoulos's first lead role in an American studio production, a significant milestone for the César Award-winning performer as she expands into English-language work.
Park is directing from her own script and also serving as executive producer, with Apple Studios and LuckyChap producing alongside FilmNation; LuckyChap's Tom Ackerley, Bronte Payne and Kelly McRedmond are overseeing the project, though the film's plot and Exarchopoulos's character remain undisclosed. Exarchopoulos rose to prominence in 2013's "Blue Is the Warmest Color", becoming the youngest-ever Palme d'Or winner, and has since voiced a role in "Inside Out 2"; she also has two French films, "Garance" and "Orange-Flavoured Wedding", due for release later this year.
