Adèle Exarchopoulos has secured a leading role in an upcoming Apple Studios film alongside Zoë Kravitz, with Megan Park—best known for directing 'My Old Ass'—helming the project from her own script. Apple Studios and production company LuckyChap are backing the untitled mystery thriller, though details about both the plot and Exarchopoulos's character remain confidential.

The French performer is making her first major American studio lead role following an acclaimed career in European cinema. Her breakthrough came with the romantic drama 'Blue Is the Warmest Color', for which she shared the 2013 Cannes Palme d'Or with her co-star and director at age 25. A two-time César Award nominee, she has also recently lent her voice to Pixar's 'Inside Out 2' and maintains an active slate of French productions scheduled for autumn release.
