In Loki’s finale, “Glorious Purpose”, Loki confronts He Who Remains over the repeated devastation caused by Kang variants and recites, “We die with the dying. We are born with the dead.” The article links the line to Eliot’s Four Quartets, whose poems explore time, humanity and the divine, and says it closely reflects Loki’s evolution from god of mischief to a figure preserving the multiverse.
