Alison Krauss and Union Station have cancelled the remaining dates of their Arcadia tour after the singer was advised by medical professionals to take a period of vocal rest. The announcement, shared on Krauss's social media, comes as the band had been touring in support of their first album together in 14 years, marking a significant interruption to their comeback run.

The cancelled shows include stops in Davenport, Iowa, St Louis, Austin, Las Vegas and San Francisco, as well as a three-night stand at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. The statement said the decision was not taken lightly given the band's commitment to fans, but that protecting Krauss's health and vocal integrity was essential, and confirmed that all tickets would be fully refunded. The Arcadia album, Krauss's first with Union Station since 2011's Paper Airplane, features contributions from writers including JD McPherson and Sarah Siskind.
