Collider has published a ranked guide to upcoming Stephen King film and television adaptations, reflecting the ongoing appetite for the horror author's work following recent releases such as The Running Man, The Long Walk and It: Welcome to Derry. The list highlights projects at various stages of development, from newly announced adaptations to those already in pre-production, with the ranking based on the level of anticipation surrounding each.

Among the projects featured are a first-time film adaptation of the short story "Mister Yummy" by Australian director Ben Young, a new Netflix remake of Cujo (King's 1981 novel about a rabid St Bernard) with producer Roy Lee and possibly director Darren Aronofsky attached, and an A24 television adaptation of the 2022 novel Fairy Tale, now planned as a 10-episode series with J.H.
