EA Sports will launch Destined for Glory Team 1 as the first FC 27 Ultimate Team promotion on Friday, 25 September. The release is notable for featuring a smaller selection of cards than last year, while raising the minimum overall rating, giving players access to more consistently high-rated options.

Team 1 will contain 15 players, each rated at least 85, and these cards will be available in packs when the promotion begins. Some players have been officially confirmed, while leaks have revealed further names; additional cards are expected through SBCs and objectives, following EA Sports’ usual promotional release schedule.
