Andy Richter Trades Comedy for Dark Crime Thrills in Chilling ‘After the Silence’ Trailer

Andy Richter, best known for comedy and his work alongside Conan O’Brien, takes a dramatic role in the crime thriller *After the Silence*. The trailer follows a former true-crime podcaster who returns to New England to investigate his sister’s disappearance, drawing him into a dangerous search involving a wealthy local man.

Dónall Ó Héalaí plays Ethan Walker, with Kevin Pollak as Richard Ashwood and Richter as Tom Holloway, a local who knows the people and events around the case. Tracy Spiridakos, Karren Karagulian and Melia Kreiling also feature. Writer-director Michael Marantz says the film explores how grief can distort memory and trust; it is scheduled for release around Christmas.
