Anna Mallett Exits Netflix Amid UK Layoffs

Netflix has made redundancies at its London office, including Anna Mallett, its former vice-president of production for the UK and EMEA. Her departure comes amid wider cuts at the company and follows a period of success for Netflix productions in the region.

Around 2% to 3% of the London office, which has several hundred staff, were laid off, with people in public relations and marketing also affected. Mallett joined Netflix just over five years ago, after leading ITN and working at BBC Studios; Netflix recently announced 1,000 job cuts, about 6% of its global workforce.
