Apple’s $2,000 iPhone Duo goes on pre-order today at 8AM ET

Engadget ·

Apple has opened pre-orders for the iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone, amid signs that demand may exceed initial supply. Pre-ordering could improve the chance of getting one before its 23 October launch.

The Duo costs $2,000 and has a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner OLED screen when unfolded. Its main trade-offs include no Face ID, a less capable under-display FaceTime camera and fewer camera features than the iPhone 18 Pro models.
