Arc Raiders developer Embark Studios says it is addressing widespread cheating “quietly and continuously” as player numbers decline and complaints remain common, particularly in competitive PvP matches. Cheaters reportedly use aimbots, wallhacks, player-location tracking and self-revive abilities, while non-software exploits such as item duplication have also affected the game.

Executive producer Aleksander Grøndal said the studio uses multiple technologies, including real-time measures and retrospective data analysis, while developing further internal systems with external partners. He acknowledged that progress may not appear as quickly as players would like and said old cheating videos can make past problems seem current; the Frozen Trail update, due on 8 October, will not include a specifically announced anti-cheat feature because work is ongoing behind the scenes.
