Ariana Grande got briefly trapped in a lift moments after playing the final date of her Eternal Sunshine Tour, sharing the mishap in a lighthearted Instagram post over the weekend. The tour, in support of her chart-topping 2024 album Eternal Sunshine, concluded on 1 September with a run of ten shows at London's O2 Arena, capping off a run of arena dates that began in June.

Grande, 33, posted more than a dozen photos from the tour, including images of herself and team member CJ Robinson attempting to prise open the lift doors, followed by her boyfriend Ricky Álvarez stepping in to help. The tour supported Eternal Sunshine, which spent three weeks atop the Billboard 200, and comes as Grande has stepped back from some public commitments, including a planned West End role, following a period of intense media scrutiny. She has since released a new studio album, petal, and a companion live album.
