Ariana Grande has prompted speculation that she may have resumed a relationship with former boyfriend Ricky Alvarez after sharing Instagram photos of the pair together. The post has been interpreted by fans as a possible public confirmation, though neither Grande nor Alvarez has confirmed their relationship status and Billboard says it has sought comment from her representatives.

The carousel included two tagged photographs of Alvarez and Grande cuddling, while the pair were also reportedly seen at New York’s JFK Airport after the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour. They previously dated for about a year from 2015 to 2016, and Grande altered a lyric about Alvarez during a Brooklyn concert in July to say, “We always find our way back.” Grande is due to perform five shows at London’s O2 Arena from 15 August; her album Petal debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 295,000 album-equivalent units.
