Attacks, raids and forced demolitions mark another day of Israeli violence in West Bank
Israeli forces and settlers carried out 20 attacks on Palestinian olive pickers across six West Bank governorates on Friday, according to the Palestinian Wall and Colonization Resistance Commission. The reported incidents included assaults, detentions, damage to farms and blocked access to fields, amid wider raids and restrictions.
Settlers reportedly damaged crops and greenhouses near Jericho, while a raid on a Bedouin community east of Ramallah lasted more than three hours and included assaults and one detention. In Hebron, forces closed several neighbourhoods and the Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslims until Saturday night; three Palestinians were detained and another assaulted. In East Jerusalem, two families demolished their own homes in Jabal al-Mukabber, which housed 18 people, after paying 25,000 shekels in efforts to prevent the demolitions.
