Denise Nataly Migliore, a 51-year-old Australian who has lived legally in the United States for around 30 years, has been indicted on federal charges over allegations that she voted illegally in two US elections, including two presidential contests. The case is notable because Migliore is a long-term legal resident, and US authorities have framed her arrest as part of a wider crackdown on non-citizens participating in American elections.

Migliore, who was born in Sydney, was charged on 11 June with four counts of illegal voting and making false statements to register to vote, and was arrested at a federal courthouse in New Orleans on 1 July. Prosecutors from the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana allege she falsely claimed to be a US citizen to register in October 2022 and October 2024, and then voted on 8 November 2022 and 5 November 2024. The investigation was carried out by ICE and the FBI, with Homeland Security officials warning non-citizens who vote that they will face criminal charges and possible deportation. Migliore reportedly told a local outlet that she had mistakenly believed permanent residents could vote, saying she had a pending citizenship application and "just considered myself a citizen".
