Battlefield 6’s Season 4 update will introduce naval warfare and restore two-seat fixed-wing jets, a feature absent from the series since 2005’s Battlefield 2. The update also marks the game’s first announced Top Gun crossover, expanding its content through themed characters, cosmetics and a new carrier-focused mode.

Season 4: Pacific Front launches on 21 July with the Tsuru Reef map, naval vehicles, water and wave-system changes, and the F-18 Super Hornet and F-14 Tomcat. Top Gun content arrives on 18 August alongside the returning Wake Island map, adding voiced versions of Rooster, Bob and Warlock, while a final seasonal phase, Tidal Strike, is due on 15 September.
