Ben Silverman Still Doesn’t Want a Job — But He’s Busier Than Ever

The Hollywood Reporter ·

Ben Silverman has spent decades building television projects and companies, and says he has no desire to return to a corporate job. As chairman and co-CEO of Propagate Content, he remains busy developing and producing a wide range of programmes, drawing on his interest in golf as well as his experience adapting ideas for American audiences.

Silverman began his career at William Morris, where he helped bring formats such as *Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?* to the US, then founded Reveille Productions, which produced *The Office*. He sold Reveille for $125 million and briefly co-led NBC Entertainment before leaving, saying the role made him unhappy. Propagate’s projects include Netflix’s *Untold*, Hulu’s *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*, the revived Skins Game for Amazon, a documentary about golfer Anthony Kim and the second season of Apple TV’s *Stick*.
