Shelton filmed from Ole Red’s rooftop and teased that Bryan’s Luke’s 32 Bridge was empty, prompting Bryan to joke that Shelton was there too early and later to warn viewers about eating at Ole Red.

The exchange comes as both singers juggle busy schedules. Shelton, who has completed a Las Vegas residency and played festivals, is due to perform in Phoenix on 14 November; Bryan released his album *Signs* in September and is preparing to return as a judge on *American Idol* next year, alongside Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie.
