‘Blindspot Berlin,’ a Beta Film TIFF Standout With ‘All Quiet’ Star Albrecht Schuch, Seals Deal for Spain with Filmin (EXCLUSIVE)

Beta Film has sold German counter-terror thriller *Blindspot Berlin* to Spanish streaming platform Filmin, ahead of the series’ screening at a festival in Cádiz. The deal brings the drama to Spain in early 2027 and adds to its international profile after a premiere at TIFF Primetime.

The six-part series follows police efforts to prevent the 19 December 2016 Berlin Christmas market attack, which killed 13 people and injured dozens. Albrecht Schuch stars as Detective Lieutenant Frank Laudlin alongside Bayan Layla and Tamer Tıraşoğlu; the story examines how institutional failures and human errors undermined the investigation. The series launches on ARD’s streaming service on 30 October, with television broadcasts on 1 and 6 November.
