Explained simply
Keysborough is a suburb in Melbourne’s south-east, and Cheltenham Road is one of its main roads. A pole is a fixed roadside object, such as a power or street-light pole, that can be struck in a crash.
Police investigate serious crashes to establish how they happened, including the vehicle’s speed and the events leading up to impact. Witness accounts and dashcam footage can help build that picture; Crime Stoppers is a service for sharing information with police.
