‘Brady vs. Manning’: Documentary Film in the Works About NFL Rivalry (Exclusive)
A documentary about the rivalry between NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton Manning is in development, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Winter State Entertainment is producing the film, based on journalist Gary Myers' 2015 New York Times bestseller "Brady vs. Manning," with Hamid Torabpour and Camille Torabpour attached to direct.
The film will draw on exclusive interviews, archival footage and testimony from teammates, coaches, executives and journalists who witnessed the pair's rivalry, which saw them face each other 17 times. Manning, a Hall of Famer since 2021, won Super Bowls with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos, while Brady, not yet Hall-eligible but considered a certainty, won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and a seventh with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before retiring in 2023. Casting and distribution details have yet to be announced.
