Brandi Carlile Reschedules Her European Tour Citing “Personal Circumstances”

American Songwriter · 5 hours ago

Brandi Carlile has postponed her UK and European tour dates, originally planned for this autumn, to spring next year, citing unspecified "personal circumstances". The singer-songwriter announced the change on Instagram, admitting she had felt "profoundly anxious" about sharing the news and acknowledging it would be disappointing for fans, particularly those who had arranged international travel around the original schedule.

Carlile said her team had worked to minimise disruption while rearranging the dates, which led to some venue changes but also allowed extra shows to be added. However, one date could not be salvaged: her planned Lisbon concert has been dropped from the rescheduled run, with Carlile apologising and promising to try to return to Portugal in future. The revamped European leg of her Human Tour will now begin on 23 March in Oslo and take in cities including Paris, Dublin and Manchester, before closing in London on 14 April, with full updated dates listed on her website.
