BREAKING IN A SEQUENCE has released “Don’t Run”, the second single from its forthcoming album, “Inanimate”, which is due later in 2026. The melodic alternative metal band says the song signals a new phase ahead of the album’s release, drawing on early-2000s nu metal through melody, groove and aggression.

The single follows April’s “Meant To Be” and was produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Collier with the band. “Don’t Run” was the first song written with drummer BC Vaught after he joined following former KORN drummer David Silveria’s 2022 retirement; the band says it deliberately spent about 18 months developing its chemistry before writing together.
