Breakout Rapper Nori Unleashes Debut Project ‘file_1’

North London rapper Nori has released his debut project, ‘file_1’, following a run of viral singles and freestyle performances. The release brings together grime influences and a forward-looking sound, while presenting an autobiographical account of his experiences.

Nori says the title references the first save file in the Zelda games, which he sees as an invitation into his world. He describes the project as open and reflective, covering his beliefs, emotional struggles and life experiences, while also making room for fun and gratitude. This autumn, he is due to support Kibo on the Kwengletaria:Ragamyff UK headline tour, including a London show at Village Underground on 30 October.
