H.E.R. Reveals This Horror Masterpiece Is Her Favorite Movie of All Time

H.E.R. says Stanley Kubrick’s *The Shining* is her favourite film of all time, revealing her enthusiasm for horror while discussing her career and ambitions as a filmmaker. She is open to directing a horror film herself, with a psychological thriller in mind.

In a Collider interview, H.E.R. said she would avoid gore and demonic themes in favour of suspense and uncertainty. She also expressed interest in working with director Mike Flanagan, and said making a narrative film is on her bucket list. The interview took place as her animated film *Forgotten Island*, in which she voices Jo, was in cinemas.
