A 20-year-old British tourist, Bradley Belhomme, is fighting for his life on life support in an Athens hospital after suffering a severe brain injury in a quad bike crash while on holiday in Greece with friends. His family have launched an urgent GoFundMe appeal to cover medical bills and the cost of bringing him home to Salford, highlighting the serious risks that quad bikes can pose to young holidaymakers abroad.

The fundraiser, set up by a family member who described the appeal as a message they never expected to have to make, had raised more than £20,800 towards a £26,000 target. The incident follows a similar case last month, when 18-year-old Alfie Moses from Peterborough suffered serious spinal injuries in a quad bike crash in Zante while celebrating his birthday on his first lads' holiday.
