Gemma Arterton's spy drama Secret Service has secured a US streaming home, with MGM+ acquiring rights for North America, Latin America and Italy. The five-part series, adapted from a novel by ITV News At Ten anchor Tom Bradby, follows senior MI6 officer Kate Henderson as she investigates suspicions that a high-ranking UK politician is working for Russia, risking her career and personal safety to expose them. The deal marks a notable export success for the show, which has already proven popular with British audiences.

The series is produced by Potboiler Productions, known for the film Die My Love, and co-financed and distributed by All3Media International, with Bradby co-writing the script alongside Jemma Kennedy and James Marsh and Farren Blackburn directing. The cast also features Rafe Spall, Alex Kingston, Mark Stanley, Roger Allam and Khalid Abdalla, among others. Secret Service drew almost four million viewers for its opening episode when it launched on ITV in April, making it the broadcaster's second-best new drama debut of 2026, and MGM+ global head Michael Wright praised the adaptation as "smart, timely, and hugely entertaining."
