Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso have covered the Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, giving the 1996 pop hit their own interpretation. The performance highlights the pair’s growing international profile and comes alongside appearances of songs from their latest album, FREE SPIRITS.

The album recently earned them 10 nominations for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards. “Wannabe” was the Spice Girls’ debut single, becoming their first UK No. 1 and remaining at the top of the chart for seven weeks; CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso are also due to feature on “Sexy Magic”, an original track from the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, alongside PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy.
