TEG, the Sydney-based live entertainment and ticketing group, has announced a significant executive restructuring in which Tim McGregor departs after 20 years as global head of touring to "embark on his next chapter," whilst Mark Dodds is promoted to managing director of TEG Live. The reshuffle, announced on 24 September, is positioned as a "strategic reset" designed to drive the company's next phase of growth whilst sharpening its Asia-Pacific touring focus. Paul Dainty assumes a new role as president of touring and theatrical alongside his existing CEO position at TEG Dainty, and John Ranieri joins as chief information officer across the TEG Group.

Dodds, who has overseen tours for artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C. and Beabadoobee, will continue leading Handsome Tours whilst assuming responsibility for upcoming tours from System Of A Down, Icehouse and Niall Horan. Ranieri, who brings over 20 years of digital and technology leadership experience including a recent role as head of transformation and CTO at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, is tasked with maintaining TEG's innovation pace in ticketing and fan experience technology. TEG operates as a major Asia-Pacific entertainment empire, processing over 23 million tickets annually across more than 20,000 events through its seven international offices, and is owned by US private equity firm Silver Lake through a 2019 investment worth over A$1.3 billion.
