CCTV shows Beau Lamarre-Condon meeting a friend for dinner at Sushi Train just hours after allegedly killing two people – as court hears he was banned from dating apps
Elizabeth Kennedy told the NSW Supreme Court she did not know Beau Lamarre-Condon was allegedly transporting the bodies of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies when she travelled with him in a rental van. Her evidence is part of his trial on charges including the murders of Baird and Davies; he has pleaded not guilty.
Kennedy said Lamarre-Condon picked her up on 21 February 2024, two days after the alleged killings, and they drove from Sydney to Goulburn and Bungonia, returning about eight hours later. She said a mesh cage blocked her view of the van’s rear, where she saw a flat blue tarp, and denied encouraging him to hide the bodies or go to the police. She also said she tried to call him about 12 times the next day after seeing reports of Baird’s disappearance.
- A childhood friend denied knowing what was in Lamarre-Condon’s van.
- The trip to Goulburn and Bungonia lasted about eight hours.
- Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to the murder charges.
