Charli XCX shares ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ tracklist, including a collaboration with David Cronenberg
Charli XCX has revealed the tracklist for her forthcoming album 'Music, Fashion, Film', due for release on 24 July, headlined by an unexpected collaboration with film director David Cronenberg. The reveal, posted to Instagram, matters because it confirms the direction of her first major body of work since her acclaimed 2024 album 'Brat', from which she has said she is deliberately moving away.
The 11-track record features recent singles 'Wink Wink', 'Rock Music' and 'SS26', with the Cronenberg-assisted 'No One Lasts Forever' being the longest song at nearly six minutes. The black-and-white cover, shot by Aidan Zamiri, features John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese, while a global series of listening parties in independent cinemas begins on 9 July. Charli, who has spoken candidly about recent mental health struggles, will also make her headline debut at Reading & Leeds in August.
