Comedy Trio Please Don’t Destroy Take Their Act to J.Crew for New Suiting Campaign

The Hollywood Reporter ·

J.Crew has cast comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy in a campaign promoting its autumn suiting, using their sketch-comedy style to show customers trying on suits. The campaign pairs fashion photography with a short film set in the brand’s New York Suit Shop, bringing humour to the experience of choosing a first suit.

Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy appear as new shop employees who help three customers before modelling J.Crew’s Ludlow Slim Fit, Crosby Classic Fit and Kenmare Relaxed Fit suits. Marshall also wears a tuxedo, while Luke Gilford’s photographs draw on the energy and style of 1990s New York. The trio became known through Saturday Night Live; Herlihy and Higgins have since left, while Marshall remains on the show as a cast member.
