Cordina agrees terms to fight Pacquiao, 47, on Fury-Joshua card
Joe Cordina has agreed terms to face Manny Pacquiao on the undercard of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua’s planned heavyweight fight in Cardiff on 11 December. Promoter Eddie Hearn says negotiations are advanced, but the bout is not confirmed; if it goes ahead, it would be Pacquiao’s first fight in the UK and a major hometown opportunity for Cordina.
Pacquiao, 47, has won world titles in eight weight divisions and has a record of 62 wins from 73 fights. He has not fought since a majority draw with Mario Barrios in July 2025, while a planned rematch with Floyd Mayweather was postponed indefinitely. Cordina, 34, is a former IBF super-featherweight champion who was cleared of assault charges and had been training after a planned title fight in the United States fell through over a visa issue.
