Country Singer From Viral Triplet Trio Dies at 35, Sisters Remember Their “Fearless Leader”

Nicole Taylor, one of the identical triplets in country group Taylor Red, has died aged 35 after battling breast cancer. Her sisters Nika and Natalie announced her death in a video, remembering her as their “fearless leader” and describing her determination to keep enjoying life.

Taylor Red, previously known as Red Roots, formed in the mid-2000s and released albums including *The Middle of Nowhere* and *Triplicity*. The sisters said Nicole was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2022, continued doing CrossFit during chemotherapy and drew comfort from her faith; the group had opened for Charlie Daniels, Josh Turner and Amy Grant.
