Crimson Desert update adds cross save functionality to PC and consoles, but you’re going to need to buy those Deluxe cosmetics again

GamesRadar+ · 2 months ago

Crimson Desert's latest update introduces cross-platform save synchronisation, allowing players to continue their progress across PC and console versions using the same save file. The feature requires linking a Pearl Abyss account to platform-specific profiles like PSN and Steam, with players receiving one cross-save slot per account and the ability to freely relink accounts as desired.

However, cosmetic purchases from the Deluxe Pack remain platform-specific and do not sync across systems, requiring players to repurchase these items on each platform where they wish to use them. This limitation affects the value proposition for players who have invested in cosmetics on their original platform.

  • Crimson Desert now supports cross-platform save synchronisation via Pearl Abyss account linking
  • Cosmetic purchases remain platform-exclusive and must be repurchased on each system
  • Each Pearl Abyss ID receives one cross-save slot with flexible account linking options
