Critical Role Officially Returns to Its Roots for New Campaign with Hololive

Critical Role is returning to Exandria, the setting of its first campaign, for *Shattered Legends*, a six-episode actual-play miniseries with Hololive Production members. The collaboration pairs familiar Critical Role founders Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray with four Hololive performers, bringing the tabletop series to a new audience.

The show premieres on 13 November at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET on Nerissa Ravencroft’s YouTube channel and Critical Role’s Beacon platform. Using Critical Role’s Daggerheart rules, it follows the group in the Shattered Teeth archipelago, where they will explore Ubradar’s Undermaw, a vast sinkhole with an unknown darkness below. The players’ characters include a sea witch, a rogue, a bard, a druid and a seraph; a convention tour begins at Anime Frontier in Texas on 5 December.
