The decision matters because the group has been central to Palace’s vocal support and distinctive matchday displays for two decades, including several memorable tifos celebrating supporters, club history and major achievements.

The group said younger supporters are increasingly unable or unwilling to participate, while away supporters face bans on materials, coach stops and arrests. It highlighted its role in protests that helped save Palace in 2010, campaigning for the away-ticket price cap, and supporting the club through a successful period that included the 2025 FA Cup win over Manchester City; it said conditions no longer allow an active supporter culture to grow.
