Dana White heads to Washington for Trump meeting over press secretary offer

Dana White says he is travelling to Washington, DC, to meet Donald Trump at the White House on Monday, after Trump offered him the job of press secretary. White has not said whether he will accept, leaving uncertainty over whether the offer is serious and whether he is considering it.

Reports have conflicted: TMZ said the meeting was to discuss the role, while CNN reported White had declined and a White House aide suggested Trump was joking. Trump made the offer on Truth Social and proposed that several UFC fighters join White as assistants. The vacancy follows Katie Zacharia’s dismissal after five days in the job.
