THQ Nordic expects Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come game to launch during its 2027/28 financial year, placing both releases no later than March 2028. The plans matter because they provide the clearest public release window yet for two significant franchises, although neither game has a confirmed date.

Darksiders 4, announced in August 2025 and developed by Gunfire Games, is set after the original game and will let players choose between the four Horsemen, each with different gameplay. Warhorse Studios’ next Kingdom Come title, reportedly likely to be called Kingdom Come Salvation, is only confirmed as another open-world RPG; both games may therefore arrive in 2027.
