Unjected, a dating application designed for unvaccinated singles, is holding a second mixer event in Colorado after the initial gathering was cancelled by an unauthorised venue in May. The Denver bar Recess had not approved or sponsored the event and made the cancellation decision citing safety concerns and lack of prior authorisation. The app's founder, Shelby Hosana, subsequently filed a civil rights lawsuit against the bar, claiming discrimination against the unvaccinated community.

The original event was scheduled for May at Recess bar, but the venue terminated it after learning of the gathering through social media. The new dating event is set for 24 October at an undisclosed location, with attendees required to message the Unjected Instagram account directly to receive venue details upon RSVP. The Recess bar stated it opposed the event owing to safety concerns and lack of authorisation, whilst Hosana has framed the legal action as a matter of bodily autonomy and civil rights, reportedly seeking community support for the legal fund.
