The livestream coincided with FIFA's announcement that Justin Bieber would join BTS, Madonna and Shakira as a co-headliner of the halftime show, set for 19 July at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin, it marks the first halftime show of this scale at a World Cup Final and will benefit FIFA's Global Citizen Education Fund.
