Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande after Paris St-Germain withdrew from the race for the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international. PSG had reportedly seen a final £102.5m bid rejected by Leipzig on Sunday and have now decided against a bidding war with Real, who are set to pay more than £100m for the teenager. Liverpool were also previously interested, having an initial £69m bid rejected in June before moving on to other targets.

Madrid's agreement is said to be structured like Jude Bellingham's contract, with incentives tied to performance that increase year-on-year. Diomande, who joined Leipzig from Spanish side Leganes last summer on a five-year deal, was the Bundesliga's young player of the season for 2025-26 after scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists. Real's negotiators are reported to have scouted him for around five years, and Leipzig, despite trying hard to keep him, have found the offers from Europe's leading clubs difficult to turn down.
