Discord improves Markdown previews and adds 1GB uploads for Nitro users
Discord’s latest update improves previews of Markdown files, rendering tables and formatting in a readable layout instead of showing raw symbols. This could make it easier for people to share project instructions and information, including material used by AI tools, in Discord conversations.
The update also adds a “Move to…” option for organising servers and channels from the sidebar. Discord Nitro members can now upload files of up to 1GB; the article gives no further details about limits for other users.
In short
- Markdown previews now display formatting and tables clearly.
- Servers and channels can be moved from the sidebar.
- Nitro uploads can be up to 1GB.
