Dragon’s Dogma 2 Is Getting Anime Crossover Updates Now, So Start Praying for Berserk
Capcom has released a Delicious in Dungeon crossover for Dragon’s Dogma 2, adding outfits based on characters Laios and Marcille. The update signals continued support for the role-playing game following the release of its Dark Arisen expansion, and may lead to further collaborations.
The outfits are available in players’ storage when they load a save, and can be redeemed until 29 January 2027. The 7.8GB update also includes minor bug fixes. The article notes that the original Dragon’s Dogma featured armour inspired by Berserk, though those sets were removed from later re-releases.
In short
- Dragon’s Dogma 2 adds two Delicious in Dungeon outfits.
- The crossover is available until 29 January 2027.
- The update also includes minor fixes.
Explained simply
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a role-playing game made by Japanese developer Capcom. Players explore a fantasy world, fight monsters and build a group of companions called pawns, who can join them on their journey.
Delicious in Dungeon is a fantasy manga and anime about adventurers who cook and eat monsters while exploring a dungeon. Berserk is another influential dark fantasy series; the first Dragon’s Dogma included armour inspired by it, but that equipment was later removed from re-releases.
Such crossovers bring characters or designs from one series into another, often as optional in-game items. They can give players new ways to customise their characters and show how a game’s support may continue after launch.
