Los Angeles electronic rock band Dummy have announced their second album, do you love the color of the sky?, due on 16 October via Polyvinyl. Its lead single, “Full Spectrum Dominance”, combines heavier rock elements with dance influences and addresses concerns about artificial intelligence, particularly technology companies’ use of collective human work and intellectual property.

The album follows Dummy’s 2024 release Free Energy and was co-produced by the band with Joo-Joo Ashworth. It contains 10 tracks, while the accompanying video for “Full Spectrum Dominance” was made by Post Man Animation; Dummy will also tour North America from 13 October to 4 November, with several dates supported by Golomb.
