Lego and Toei Animation have announced their first Dragon Ball set, marking the beginning of a new partnership between the toymaker and the anime studio. The Lego Icons Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku set will launch this November and be followed by additional Dragon Ball sets in 2027, bringing Akira Toriyama's long-running franchise into the Lego portfolio for the first time.

The set comprises 1,764 pieces and stands over 12 inches tall, depicting the iconic moment when Shenron rises from the seven Dragon Balls with Kid Goku riding his Kintoun cloud. The set includes a Kid Goku minifigure and a diorama, with a retail price of $179.99 and a November release date. Both the Lego Group and Toei Animation emphasised in statements that this partnership represents an opportunity to celebrate Dragon Ball's enduring legacy whilst offering fans a new creative way to engage with the universe.
