Early Access PS5 Racer Outperforms Every October Release Apart from Call of Duty

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 topped PlayStation 5 downloads in October in both North America and Europe. BeamNG.drive, a physics-based driving simulator still in early access, was the surprise performer, placing second in North America and third in Europe and beating most other games released that month.

Among October’s other new releases, Peak ranked seventh in North America and sixth in Europe, Star Wars: Galactic Racer placed eighth in both, and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve came ninth and 14th respectively. In Europe, EA Sports FC 27 was the only October release besides Call of Duty to outsell BeamNG.drive; Phantom Blade Zero did not.
