Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" has finished as the No. 1 song on Billboard's Songs of the Summer chart for 2026, capping a season in which country music dominated the ranking's top three positions for the first time. The track was joined at the summit by Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" at No. 2 and another Langley song, "Be Her", at No. 3, underlining country's growing presence at the top of Billboard's charts this decade.

"Choosin' Texas" has spent 21 weeks and counting atop the Hot 100, including 11 consecutive weeks since 4 July, and drew 407 million US streams and 124,000 downloads during the summer tracking period, both the highest of any song. Notably, it is only the second Songs of the Summer champion in 30 years to have debuted on the Hot 100 in a prior year, having been released in October 2025. Elsewhere in the top 10, Ariana Grande's "Hate That I Made You Love Me" placed fourth, Drake's "Janice STFU" fifth, and Olivia Dean's "So Easy (To Fall in Love)" was the summer's biggest radio hit, reaching eighth overall.
