ELOY CASAGRANDE Reveals He Has Finished Recording His Parts For New SLIPKNOT Album: The Drum Tracks ‘Are Done’

Blabbermouth ·

Slipknot drummer Eloy Casagrande says he has finished recording his drum parts for the band’s next full-length album, which follows September’s release of the single “Arsenal”. The recording marks a significant step in the album’s production and is Casagrande’s first album with the band.

Casagrande said the writing began in late 2025, with him and guitarist Jim Root exchanging riffs and drum ideas before jamming with other band members. The group recorded and reviewed these sessions to find ideas they could develop into songs, with producer Matt Wallace observing and supporting the process. Casagrande said “Arsenal” began as a song sent to him by singer Corey Taylor, and he substantially changed its initially basic drum part.
