BBC Sport · 10 hours ago

Charley Hull produced a historic second-round 62 at the PIF London Championship, breaking the Centurion Club course record and moving to within one shot of leader Anna Huang. The bogey-free round equalled the lowest score in Ladies European Tour history, giving Hull strong momentum despite saying she has been exhausted and managing ongoing injuries.

Hull, who opened with a 74, made an eagle at the first and nine birdies to reach 10 under par overall, one behind 17-year-old Canadian Huang on 11 under. Huang followed her opening 67 with a 68, while Wales’ Lydia Hall is third on eight under after a 67; Hull’s 62 surpassed Georgia Hall’s previous course record from 2021.
