Eric McCormack to Guest Star in OUTtv’s ‘The Dressing Room’ Season 2 (Exclusive)
OUTtv's comedy series "The Dressing Room" has revealed guest stars for its second season, with "Will & Grace" actor Eric McCormack joining the cast alongside "Kim's Convenience" star Andrea Bang and Marianas Trench singer Josh Ramsay. The announcement matters as it brings higher-profile names to the Vancouver-produced theatre comedy, which follows the cast and crew of a fictional touring musical called "Balloon Boy" as they navigate backstage chaos and personal drama.
Also joining the guest line-up is a cameo from Laura Bell Bundy, the original Elle Woods in Broadway's "Legally Blonde", plus further guest appearances from Katie Findlay, Eduard Witzke, and Jacqueline and Joyce Robbins. The series, created by Vancouver theatre artists Paul Almeida and Makayla Moore, was shot over 10 days with a directing team including Nat Boltt, Jennifer Copping, Milo Shandel, Josh Epstein and Almeida himself. Season two premieres worldwide on OUTtv on 4th August, with two episodes airing initially followed by weekly Tuesday releases; returning regulars include Irene Karas Loeper, Jason Sakaki, Jeffrey Follis and Alex Gullason.
